Our Previous Production
Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Written by James Hadley and Matthew Ward
Our audience stepped into a world of magic, mischief, and mistaken identities! Our adapted production brought Shakespeare’s beloved comedy to life with a vibrant cast, imaginative staging, and plenty of surprises.
Our first production of the play at the International School of Ho Chi Minh City’s Theatre Space November 27 – 30 was well received.
We were then thrilled to offer playings at our Imaginarium Creative Hub location from 04 – 06 December.

Pre-Production Review
This production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream was fantastic. Shakespeare can be difficult to access, even for native speakers, but the emphasis on physical storytelling made the play engaging and easy to follow. The actors’ movement was dynamic and purposeful, and quick character switches were handled seamlessly, helping each role feel distinct and realized.
The production featured playful representations of the fairies and subtle Vietnamese-inspired elements, such as lanterns and a Grab driver, which added fresh, modern touches without feeling forced. The ensemble delivered lively, energetic performances, balancing humor, physicality, and rhythm, while keeping the story clear and engaging throughout.
There were minor differences in vocal projection, but the pacing never dragged, and the cast consistently drove the story forward. Overall, this was an engaging, well-adapted production that successfully made Shakespeare accessible for a modern audience, combining humor, movement, and subtle cultural elements to bring the play to life.
